Bob says that he has owned a camera for as long as he can remember but has never enjoyed photography so much as he does now and that he thinks is largely due to digital imaging.

He says that he can look back on photographs taken on a Brownie 127 almost 50 years ago and remember with great affection some of the people in them even though they may have only been fleeting acquaintances. It just goes to remind us, he says, of the importance of recording those important events in our lives so that we may forever enjoy them.

Based in Norfolk it is here that much of his photography takes place but, now retired from full time employment, he has the great opportunity to travel and to photograph everything about the towns and villages he visits in order to capture the magic that is overseas travel.

Bob says that photography for him is and always has been a great pleasure and the hopes at some time to have the opportunity to share that with you.

'Photography is not about cameras, gadgets and gismos. Photography is about photographers. A camera didn't make a great picture any more than a typewriter wrote a great novel.' - Peter Adams
